It still costs $1375 if you find ur own coils and pcm. Its a badass system regardless but you really have to be a die hard lt1 guy too. Otherwise you can just sell the lt1 and install a ls1

Very cool ! I love the DFI it's amazing ! only problem is I'm not sure how to work it on my new mac. I think I need bootcamp and install xp so I can run the program. You running serial cable to a laptop or the newer usb connections?

haven't got it completely hooked up yet, motor is still out of the car. I've got the serial cable, which i hope I can find a usb adapter to work with windows 7. Surprisingly calmap works great on 7, so i've already got my initial startup tune done. Just waiting on my trans to get here so I can throw this thing back together and do some real tuning. I got a great price on this system (used), a TON less money than these guys are looking at for these ls1 pcm swaps and the DFI system is basically limitless.

I meant it for the next set up, maybe this Fall. And Mike, my car is not any faster than your beast with all the lightweight stuff the you've added.

Its all good and I really think the more people in the class the better!!
I really havent added much light weight stuff and at the shootout we have to weigh 3400 anyways.

sort of off topic but you guys that need a good serial to USB adapter that will work with Windows7 and XP with ease should use this one in the link

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-141-_-Product

I use these all of the time to program Cisco routers and HP procurve switch's for my network and they work perfect everytime. Also use them to run IR convertors to have my servers control all of my DVD and VCR racks.

You need to clip every wire under the hood and connect them together. Then get in car and turn key and make engine noises with your mouth.
