May seem too obvious but did you hook up the switch on the clutch pedal and make sure its adjusted right?

There is also a switch on the brake pedal that will turn off the cruise when the pedal is engaged. Maybe check fuses as well, might have a blown one

There is a switch on the brake AND clutch pedal that shuts off the cruise. . . . when i bought my car the cruise did not work and the one on the clutch pedal had came loose. Tightened it up and back in business. . . .

You have to re-wire them switches on the Pedals for it to work factory stock..

Here is my thread..it may help to see if you missed something..

You must have the "Y" jumper that goes from the brake to the clutch cruise switches if you want it like stock.

That and it was simple to do.

I am not doubting it works. You posted as I was composing my post and I did not see yours.

Ok, now maybe he didnt word this right, but he says it doesn't work. Not that it's not disengaging with the clutch pedal. With the clutch cruise cancel switch disconnected, cruise control should still work.

We were suggesting to look at the Switches on the Pedals..maybe he forgot to plug the one back in on the Brake Pedal.

It still wouldn't make a difference. The only way the switch would disable cruise is if he didn't adjust it, so the switch thinks the pedal is always down. Which is probably what he did.

You are thinking of it backwards man..the switch is designed to open the circuit when the Pedal is down. It closes the circuit when it's up..as in it has to be depressed to close the circuit.

Total opposite of the Brake Light Switch.

If he didn't connect it to the one on the Brake Pedal it would not work, it would be an open circuit with the Connector just hanging.

How is your Reverse Lockout Wired? Is it tuned for a Manual?

ya its been tuned for a manual. 1st gear is really easy and the rest are easy as well but reverse is a pain. i bought the pigtails off ebay and follow the right up in the swap thread on here. it was really easy for the most part. but my reverse lockout isnt deactivating i think.

Sometimes the T-56's a a little bit hard to get into reverse, the vette's are usually hard as well. As long as it isn't popping back out of gear then you should be fine.

Do you have 12v going to the Rev. Lockout, and the other wire going to the correct Pin on the PCM?
