Default acdelco optispark?? at advanced auto parts

I was at advanced autoparts yesterday and they can order me an acdelco optispark for $511. I thought someone on here said they do not have acdelco optisparks anymore?

They can special order anything you want but you are going to pay for it. You can get the same GM opti for about 360 bucks at jegs, summit, even a gmparts direct place.

I got mine at O'Reilly. The guy on the phone gave me the wrong price of $250 over the phone and I double checked with him to make sure it was a new complete one. When I went in the manager said he had to honor the price and was pissed because it was supposed to be $500

For $511 they should supply the lube, which is one less thing to worry about.

Call Sam Taylor Buick Cadillac parts dept, they will ship at wholesale prices, often the shipping is less than the local taxes you pay. ASk for Jason Cromer.

thepartsladi - brand new GM optisparks for under $300. Why would you go elsewhere?

How much does Jason charge for a vented/un-vented opti? Just wondering.

Jason's prices used to be pretty close to thepartsladi, but the last I checked GM had implemented a core charge. I don't believe thepartsladi has to deal with that. I guess Jason would credit you back if you shipped him your old opti. I've never bought an opti from him, but if I needed one I would seriously consider him. I've gotten lots of stuff from him. He's great to work with, their prices are significantly lower than any dealer I've ever dealt with, and they don't bend you over with ridiculous shipping charges.

I had one from Jason fail in the 12-12 warranty, I put it in a box and sent it to him, he shipped a new one back no questions asked!

So they come with a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty? That's nice to know.

Most all GM parts from the dealer carry a 12-12 warranty. SOme carry lifetime like fuel pumps, A/C compressors etc.
