Won't start after car wash
I took my 97 WS6 through the automated touchless wash the other day and got a underbody flush as well. First off I usually never take it to a car wash, I always wash it by hand, but i was in a hurry. Anyways, I went over the underbody flush with no problems at all. I stopped and shut the car off while the wash ran through the cycles. I went to start my car to pull it forward into the dryes, but all it did was keep turning over. I ended up having to push it out of the car wash. There were no prior signs of anything begining to go before the wash. I am thinking it is spark related cause I have good fuel pressure. I will start by testing out the coil first followed by the icm and then if it is not those two I will try the optispark. I also checked for loose or corroded connections with no luck. Any insight would be appreciated. Mods in sig

He means use some rtv sealant around the connector also the main body of the opti even tho you have the o ring ,and there is 3 holes along the opti, seal those holes up.also you can by a msd cap and rotor kit,and you can vent it that way.Use lock tite on the rotor screws.

Yeah, the o-ring doesn't do you much justice especially if its old and crusty. Always seal the cap onto the rest of the distributor using some kind of silicone. I'm going on 4 years strong
