I have a 94 LT1 Camaro with a 2002 dash and 95' Trans Am gauge cluster. Everything works fine, but I really want a digital Camaro gauge cluster and I heard that the 97' and 98' gauge clusters are the same. If so I can get a 98' cluster from my friend. Anyone's advise would be appreciated...

I heard 97' and 98' clusters only are interchangeable. I am waiting until "shbox" login and help us out

Not much experience with this. Are you sure you have a 95 Firebird cluster? A 95 would be the old shape and not fit the profile of the 97-2002 dash. It seems it would have to be at least a 97 'bird cluster to fit. Did you already do some wiring conversion to make the cluster you now have work? The old and new cluster plugs and pinouts are not the same (IIRC).

yup I have a 95-96 analog Trans Am gauge cluster. It fits right into any 97-02 F-body dash. I have rewired everything to work. I just wonder if I plug a [97]-98 digital gauge cluster into my car, will it work? I know for a fact that 99-02 gauge clusters do not work.

Can the 97 Camaro Z28 cluster work?
