The bearing is pressed in the pump housing with the shaft . You need a new pump . Better yet buy a CSR

Like said above, buy a new pump. I did disasemble my pump before to powder coat the housing so it is possible to get gut it. I had to press the shaft apart and I did get the bearing out as well as the seal. It was tedious and I had to guess at things when pressing it back together. I got lucky and it works fine plus it looks great powder coated.

Need a new pump or turn that into an electric pump. Also that is not the w/p drive seal. The seal is on the timing cover itself, not the back of the pump. You need a screw driver or chisel to pop the one out of the timing cover and then a socket or something to drive the new one on over the splined shaft.

True, but if you choose to do this, you have to be VERY careful not to scuff, scrape, slice, ding, or in any other way possible, damage the seal as it goes over the splines of the WP drive shaft. The plastic cap from a "Sharpie" pen can be used as a guide, to get the seal over the splines without damage. Also, do not "pre-oil" this seal, as it's a teflon seal, and will leak if either damaged or pre-oiled, during installation.

(ask me how I know this....)

One other thing, there is a "groove" on one end the OD of the WP drive shaft. The groove goes at the engine side of the shaft.
