Moving this to the top again. IF you have an interest in the LTx Race Block, PLEASE email me. I am tryin to compile a list of all those interested in them. No tire kickers please. I need to know what the total tally is and who I need to contact in case anything goes through.

EMAIL ME YOUR CONACT INFO along with qnty if you want more than 1. I know that Shepherd and Clayton are interested and a few others, but I would like for everyone to contact me again with interest. Even those that have already contacted me, so that I do not forget anyone and so we can find out if we can do anything with what we have already.

Thanks
John and SDPC

Is this happening with the GM tooling, or through Dart?

I was wanting the one Dart offered for a big cube stroker LT1, not getting my hopes up though.

Last I heard, DART threw in the towel. I assume it would be through GM tooling..

If you just say you are "IN" but do not give me your contact info either in PM or email, then it really does me no good to count you because I have no way of knowing who you are. I need proof that people want this, not just someone saying I want one on LS1Tech. I do not want to come across as rude or mean, but it is a HUGE undertaking. So please, again, if you are interested, send me a PM or email with your contact info. Phone and name is fine, address if you want also.

May see more firm commitment if you could post what kind of money are you talking about and the block specs..

I know you can't be firm but knowing the general neighborhood would help folks on the fence like me...
IE if its really expensive I'd skip further mods on the LT1 Corvette and start working on the G8.....

I'm not a broke kid just a guy with two college age kids that likes (bang for his buck)

Thanks
Mike

The problem is, there has to be proof of interest first before anything can even start to happen, let alone any sort of price be thrown around. This is not just some regular run of the mill project that has been done before and would be copied by every casting co out there.

There is no price right now. I am trying to find out exactly who is interested and how many we can sell in the first place for the big hitters. If you have the interest then you know it will cost more than a standard SBC anyway. I wish I could put a ceiling on the price, but honestly there is no tenative info.

Right now, I am JUST trying to get info from people that are committed. This will make it easier to present if anything arises soon.

I really hope this goes through. Good luck SD and everyone that is interested. I wish I could say I have the funds to even think about being interested, but I don't. I just hope it goes through for those willing to pay. Maybe when I am done with school these will be around and available to anyone.
