I was gonna send it back, BUT I will sell it to you less the credit card fee they were gonna charge me to return it, which was $20. You pay shipping.

Looking good my friend! Not a quick fix but we could have a good f'glass shop section the middle part of the hood and raise it a couple of inches and glass it back together. Pie-cut it so only the rear is raised.

Just a thought.

I started it last night for a few minutes with no radiator or front end on the engine. It wont idle, IAC is maxed out at 160...gotta figure that out.

I tell ya what it sounds CRISP when you pop the throttle.

I always fire mine before putting all that crap on the front. Just long enough to check leaks, oil pressure, and see what the sensors are doing. Alot less to pull apart if something is wrong lol.

Update.....I finished assembly last night, took that big Griffin radiator out and put a stocker in to see if it will keep it cool.

I got some bugs to work out....it HAD a check engine light out from the startup with no water pump(no coolant temp sensor for the ecm) It is now out but my fans come on with the key.

I deleted the temp sender in the head, I have a autometer gauge. My alternator is not charging...I am wondering if the ground path through the sender is stopping the alt from charging.....I have 0 volts on my energize wire to the alt. They are all innertwined in the gauge cluster.

My ram air hood and airbox are out, just plain aint gonna work. I have a buddy with a ASCD 2.5 inch cowl and he will swap me, not the hood I want but it will work. I am gonna do a through the core support intake tube with a filter behind the bumper.

the alternator actually gets power from the cluster. check for voltage at the alternator coming out of the cluster, the ground path for the temp sender/sensor shouldnt have a bearing on it. g/l, looks bitchin. i just bought a spectre hat myself... mine is a 4in raised ram air though, clearance isnt an issue.

Have you thought about a lid with under bumper ram air like the chris1313 setup? It's what I plan to be running, and seems to show real gains over pretty much any other setup.

Looks like you only have small annoying problems to work out, should have it good to go pretty soon!

The 95% finished product....Still gotta fit the cowl trim.

The entire intake setup will change, hood and airbox will be gone. gonna do a tube through the radiator support and a filter behind the bumper.

And oh yeh, touch up the tune.

Looks like it's done with plenty of time to test out before the LTX Shootout.

I'm running my same setup this year then changing over to a similar setup to yours next year.
