Exhaust shop screwed up catback install....need options
My exhaust tips are totally not even at all. I assumed it was the welders fault as he's the one who put them on. As it turns out it's because one side of the piping is longer than the other. Makes my exhaust look goofy and drives me nuts. I was thinking of getting turn downs installed or just getting the tips cut off and later getting it redone at a better shop. Which option seems better to you guys? I have a formula and I wouldn't mind losing the dual exhaust tips. People think the car is a V6 anyways.

I have a corsa And my guy fucked it up too. The lowest part is before the axle go figure that.one tip also hangs a bit lower but I left it until Incan install longtubes and highflow cats. Remember this: EVERYTHING can. Be fixed when it comes to exhausts. They just don't want to spend the time or just want more money

Usually I do, but I figured, how could a shop mess this up and dropped it off on the way to work. I came back and sat there while he "fixed" it - it was worse than this originally.

Wow dude not to rub it in but WTF would make an exhaust guy think "DAMN THAT LOOKS GRRRRRRREAT AND RRRRRREEEEEEEEEAAAAADY FOR THE CUSTOMER!!"

Sometimes taking a car back for unsatisfactory work is sort of like never sending food back to the chef if it's bad - you'll just get the "extra special sauce" added for your trouble. It's better to ask for your money back in some circumstances and keep walking.
