is it me or does it seem like a stupid idea to go onto a forum and trash talk about the LT1, when that forum is trolled by sharks that love their LT1's and would probably sacrifice a small mammel to get another 5 HP out of their engine?
PS: I'm included in that bunch

Wow 4 pages and no lock? This is a stupid fight to have so many times. Both are good platforms. Ls is obviously better, but the lt is workable. And to the OP, just yank the Lt engine, sell it to some fool on craigslist for a good price and piece together a budget ls swap, and possibly come out ahead on funds. Or just be retarded and blow up the lt1, then go buy a ls1 and blow that up too. common sense> OP

The LS platform has evolved GM true.. But, if the LT1 platform was "trash" then whytf did the engineers (smart people) put it into a bunch of Camaros / Trans Ams/ and Corvettes for soo many years?? .. hhmmmmm - I am waiting?
Next point, if you only ran "11.4" and couldn't go faster.. then your an IDIOT!
Use your head next time you piece together a motor- not your ***! then you might be faster..
and blackknightls1 or whatever.. get off the LS1 shaft and nuts.. it's kinda pathetic you have no true knowledge about the potential of engines.. Any motor/ car can be made fast... I know of plenty of STI's and EVO's and Civic's that make more power then you do with your "LS1" set up.. and they would rape you on the street as well...

gawd you lt1'ers are stoopid. dont you know the lsx is the best motor platform everrrrrrrrr? oh wait, old farts were making more power in the 60s with carburators! the ls1 is efficient, i'll give it that. the ls1 has more bolton options, but when it comes to heads/cams, forced induction etc its anybods game

Look for people that dont read the whole thread.. I said i dont like dealing with the lt1s because what i had to do to both of mine. I never said you cant make them fast.. I just said I prefer the ls1.. If your lt1s are fast then good..hell even if their stock but running right than thats good also. But if OP wants to get an ls1 than a lt1 than i say smart move.. If he wants to blow it up.. well hell, its his ****.. (p.s pretty dumb idea if you ask me but his ****).. meine96ws6 ... The bold is for you it may help before you post what you think you know.. Better yet work on you own car then talk to me.

I did actually read the last 4 pages, and numerous people concur that you sound like a douche.. And it kills me to hear someone bashing on an LT1 just because of what you had to do to yours to run..
And by choice or budget? Choice like I said..
And I actually can't wait to go home and work on mine.. I bet I work on more high tech machines then you ever will in your LIFE.. so, go back and handle that LS1 shaft thats waiting on you man..
