Im about doing fluid change, im still debate about using regular dex or go with Pennzoil Synchromesh like most ls1 peoples does. I heard lt1 tranny build different from ls1 tranny.

I've been using B&M non-syn. Trick Shift, but I'm not too happy with it. Going to try the GM Synchromesh this next fluid change.

The Pennzoil Syncromesh is the same as the GM stuff at half the cost. But, use what-ever you want. Ive been using the Pennzoil and have had no issues.

I have heard different from senior tech members in the LS section saying it's not exactly the same. He'd be better off sticking with the GM Syncro.

Precisely. And here's why:

There are 2 versions of GM Synchromesh. They're both partially synthetic; however one is a friction-modified formula.

Non-friction modified: 12345349 (works fine with our T56 cars)
Friction modified: 12377916 (application: GM NV1500 transmissions {S-10, et al.})

The existence of both formulas and the 'accidental' use of the FM formula probably gave the stuff a bad rep in cold weather ("hard to shift").

Make sure to use the right stuff. Attached is Pennzoil's sheet on their formula.

back in the day when I was still import lover, and v8 hater. Now im import hater, anyway I use to the penzoil sycro stuff and mix 1 quart of redline heavy shock proof gear oil on my 95 talon tsi awd turbo, recomment by shepper.

anyway, its ok to leave the tranny dry for few day, I was hopping my amsoil coming today, find out that my local dealer being a dick, charger me shipping + 4 dollar for handling WTF ? then wat the point of order from dealer and still pay shipping + 4 dollar for handing ( he not even come to my house, he want me to meet him closer to his house ). I told him I can order online and ship to my house cheaper, he hang up the phone.

I drain my tranny and i guest I have to wait couple day for redline d4 and 75w90 gear oil to get here, fk amsoil dealer around me, I though I gave em a chance, cause I never use amsoil before, but dealer being a dick, that give company bad name. im stick with redline gear oil from myoilshop.com.

Mixing oils is a REALLY dumb thing to do, no matter who recommended it.

But that just for that tranny, I would not use that combo on my t56. I stick with regular dex 3 or pennzoil synchro
