Another Bad Day At The Track! Help Please!!!
Well I finally went back to the track thinking my problems were solved. My car was shifting hard and quick, I just put a new stall in, and there was no more high rpm backfiring. But I guess there is still a problem. All my mods are in my signature.
This was my best slip of the night
R/T .175
60' 2.028
330 5.912
1/8 9.140
MPH 76.08
1000 11.930
1/4 14.286
MPH 95.82
The car felt like it had no *****! It would launch hard but take forever to speed up! I felt like it was just sitting still. Anyone have any idea what could cause this?? Could it be a fuel or compression problem? IDK what to do now. Any help would be great!
Thanks

I thought mine was slow...but it is stock!! Anyways, with your mods. cant help to think timing is being pulled. Also, you running the stock MAF? Curious what your MAF is reading?

How can you tell if you have a problem with fuel? But yes the stock MAF is still on there. Why do you think it might be the MAF? The car has been tuned by MadZ28
I know this is killing me right now because i was running 14.1 with just exhaust and intake! lol

Yea I'm thinking of just buying tuning software and trying to figure out whats wrong myself. But I just changed the sparkplugs to NGK tr55s last week because i was having a high rpm miss. After i changed them the miss went away.
Any other ideas or solutions??

I used to us an LT1 scanmaster to keep an eye on current conditions while driving. It can sense when you pull full throttle, and then display max knock retard at end of run. It will help you put your finger on it if its there.

This guy has it right. Scanning takes the guess work right out of the equation!!!

No, ive never used an lt4 knock module. The car is set to shift at 6100 rpm and the rev limiter is at 6800. The MAF sensor is just descended. Do you really think I'm out flowing the stock MAF with just a cam?? There is no headwork done.
