Bleeding Clutch, power bleeder?
i'd also like to mention that i'm selling the car, so.. spending 160$ on a master/slave is not a favorable option if i can just bleed it out somehow

It is advised to replace this unit whenever you replace the clutch. This unit contains the master cylinder and slave cylinder in one unit pre-bled from GM.
That's the only way to get air out of the slave and the line.
doesnt pressing the clutch while i hook up the vacuum do the same thing?
also - my symptoms are... clutch loses pressure as it is held down. it is firm for the first few seconds, then loses pressure and clutch engages.
My friends clutch fluid needs to be changed and there no way he is going to by a new slave to do that.
