Wow. Unreal. That's awesome that I can inspire so much hate in you by barely saying only opinions. Thanks for hating my car too.

I need a razorblade a hot bath and some emo music now.

It has nothing to do with swinging from the LS1. It has to do with reality. You aren't in it and it shows. How many 5th gens have you seen match what the 2011 is doing now? I can think of none. Absolutely zero. As said, the 2011 GT has been in the 9's with a completely stock engine. Where are the 5th gens that have done the same, which brings me to the question of how do I swing from the LS1 when I state it's not in the same league as the new Coyote engine? Do you see your ignorant contradiction? Keep thinking the 5th gen is just as fast. You are the type that I laugh at when you find out the hard way you are wrong. Out of curiosity, how old are you?

Thumbs down

These threads make me lmao.

-they are both slow stock
-they can both be made to go faster then a sane person would care to
-they are both old news by today's standards
-they both become wallet wars when you really start modding them

What is there to argue about anymore? Its all preference. I could have had a whole built ls1 car for what I have just in my engine. If you don't agree with my choices...**** you, its my money

I alway have the hate for the lt1 and deep love as the same time, like for last 2 day I been kick the camaro, and today I vacum and armor all inside the car ( it still rains as hell here, so no wash ). LT1 just special.

How old are YOU? I'm 27, and show proof of a bone stock Mustang GT in the the 9's and I will give you credit. Until then, you are one ignorant, confused, internet hero. You said the LS3 is not in the same league as the 5.0, and when I called you out on it you said I was "LUDICROUS". because the damn stock Mustang runs 9's...Remember?

First off, I was refering to the lq4, which comes standard in almost every 8-lug gm vehicle built after 2000 or so. 300hp/360tq out of a 9.4:1 dish piston, huge chamber headed motor on 87 octane. Definately by no means "max effort"

and while i agree that an lt1 can be stroked to 383ci, an make more than 403/413. I know damn well it won do it with a rock solid idle, and had nearly as clean of A tail pipe emission as a stock l92.

I'm not an ls1 nut swinger like most of the guys that invaded this thread. I'm just stating facts: it's tough to beat technology.

So it might get a little more HP for the 6spd, but its a small SR cam and still stock head/intake car vs the almighty LS1 with aftermarket heads and intake . Id say thats pretty f-n sweet.

Yes I agree... I have been a lt1 fan since 1993, when my grandmother(that's right lol) bought a brand new red a4 z28... Then my mom bought a brand new 1995 red a4 z28. I ended up buying a 1996 m6 z28(red too lol) in 2000 and owned it for 9yrs before i sold it... So Im definately an lt1 fan to say the least... unfortunately over the years I realized the lsx platform is much easier to work with, especially from a tuning standpoint. I would definatelly own a lt1 car again, unfortunately I cant afford both lol... Just wanted to clear this up a bit because I feel some might think otherwise! My last post was just pokin fun at achotrod for the whole " compare stock block" topic... I really could care less, this debate don't bother me one bit... Im a car enthusist and don't nutthug any particular platform!

lol It doesnt bother me one bit either! I love both but sitting in front of the puter 12hrs a day this gives me something to do. But its true stock block to stock block(blocks that came with the cars) LT1 has a advantage in a all out build.
