I'm sure a hell of a lot less than the opti. With that said I've only had 1 opti go bad in the 8 years I've owned my car.

The biggest advantage the lsx aftermarket has is the heads and their intake manifold which is why the high hp h/c 346's have 70+rwhp and 50+rwtq on a h/c lt1.

Failures are almost non existent. I looked into selling them and I could barely find any that sold besides some MSD units that people were putting on for the "cool" factor.
