Need a board sponsor for LT1 oil system design

to plug the oil level hole it's a special thread though. I cant remember what exactly but search summit and the forum for what thread bolt you need to plug it because it is something different than normal 1/2 inch threads. It's not fine or coarse. it something like m1.5x 20mm or something odd like that.
Also, did you use your stock oil pan bolts?

Sorry about this... it's a little off topic, but how much power can actually be lost due to oil windage>? I mean it is obviously significant if the OP is going through this much to prevent it.
I am running a stock pan and high pressure Mellings pump ( i know i know, but i didn't have the cash for a Canton pan) and run an extra quart of oil to avoid possibly sucking the pan dry. Is this an unnecessary precaution that is actually causing me to lose power?
