Am I forced to use the stock pan and windage tray now with the longer ARP bolts??

Wet sump. Pan, pump, and pickup. Preferably a blueprinted pump (Ed Wright's idea.) His idea was Moroso pan and blueprinted standard pressure Moroso pump.

I thought I read in one of the threads here that one of the sponsors did this. I dunno. Been through so many threads over the past month I may be wrong. Maybe I"m asking too much.

No. It's a fresh rebuilt 350 with a cam a little more aggressive than yours and I have no intentions on putting the stock oil pan and pump back on since it's going to be spinning close to 7k.

Canton pan (if Canton windage tray is used then run 5.5 quarts to avoid windage).
Moroso windage tray (if you want to run 6 quarts. Honestly 5.5 quarts is plenty fine if you don't want to mess w/ putting in a new tray).
If running factory bearing clearances then Melling 10554 (standard volume/high pressure).
Decide what pump you go with first before ordering a pan. Whatever company you go with will want to know what pump you have so they can accommodate it with their pickup.

I run a moroso pan and you can only use a couple of pumps because you have to use moroso's pickup tube which is 5/8's. I went through hell tring to find the right pump to fit the right pickup tube. Oh and my LPP long tubes did not clear the oil level sensor so I had to plug it. This is a pic with the sensor installed. sorry I don't have one with the plug I found for it but ace carries them for only 4 bucks compared to GM or summits 20

5.5 quarts didn't do anything for my windage issue. And the 10554 pump is standard pressure and standard volume.

The Melling 10554 comes with the pink spring installed, which is the equivalent to the GM white spring, rated at 70#. It is higher pressure, contrary to what Summit says.

Get a measuring tape out and measure from the block pan flange to the top of the bolts and make a phone call to canton, moroso, or who ever pan your looking at using.

to plug the oil level hole it's a special thread though. I cant remember what exactly but search summit and the forum for what thread bolt you need to plug it because it is something different than normal 1/2 inch threads. It's not fine or coarse. it something like m1.5x 20mm or something odd like that.
