Default Trouble codes 15, 36, and 42.

I think I got my opti wet while switching waterpumps.

Code 36 is the Opti and tends to be time for a new one. I went to the track and killed it and she wouldnt start for me without serious cranking over and once i did it would throw code 36 and run pig rich cause the injectors are firing in batches cause the crank signal is on its way out the door. You may want to try and clean your connections from the opti to the pigtail to make sure they arent corrored which is a common thing and might save your opti but if not your off shopping for a new one. Hopefully its not the case but get it checked out.

Are you sure it is 15 and not 16?

15 means to check your temp sensor (in the water pump). Maybe you did not get it hooked back up or broke it or the wiring.

36 is for the opti and sometimes 42 can accompany it.

Yes, it's 15. When I switched water pumps I used my old one. I'll go get a new one.

Ok lookin at my opti today. I forgot that this motor had a vented one. Could that be why it's throwing the code. Where can I buy the vent harness?
