long tube headers if you can install them otherwise it will cost more $ then that.I have the ceramic coated pacesetters which i think were 480. but you can get the painted ones cheaper and also there were stainless ones on ebay for a good price, also you will want a y-pipe to which is 180. if i remeber correctly.check jegs or summit for prices but that would be the next mod IMO.

Headers or gears. You can get stainless headers with y-pipe on ebay for around $300 then spend the rest on new motor mounts better gaskets and bolts and maybe plugs and wires depending on their age

A performance tune is the best bang for the buck and will allow you to make better use of the intake & exhaust you have.

Some of the fleabay headers come with a y pipe and are stainless for around 300 shipped, they are a LLP/Kooks knockoff. The only thing that hasn't sold me on them is the fact that they can have a lot of fitment issues, where some don't like pacesetters and hookers. There used to be one guy on there that had stainless pacesetter knockoffs, but he ran out of them, I have thought about emailing him again and seeing if he's getting anymore.

If it's running rich it's losing power, so that takes away part of the gain you get from installing headers. The PCM can't compensate for the change in airflow so that's why the motor needs to be tuned. Mods work together to support each other, if you're missing one or more the motor won't run at it's peak potential.

For just headers and exhaust, a mail order tune should be fine. Runs about $150. Madtuner and PCMforless are popular, find their websites on google. I had good luck with Madtuner.

For a 93 with speed density, a tune is a real good idea. They are not as able to adjust for differences than systems that measure mass air flow.

rear girdle cover might be a good preventative measure. won't gain HP but could help extend the life of the rear & save you some $$$.
