I need Shon, Tony, Gizmo, and two more volunteers to all work together and come up with the rules for this class. Get it to Kyle, Ray or myself so we can look at it.

I think that a list of people who are serious about racing this class would be a great place to start!

I used to have a 00 Sonoma ZR2 with the 4.3 that truck was a beast. I actually miss it.

One thing that would speed this up is if we tech these cars the night before at the hotel. It wouldn't have to be more than a visual inspection and maybe a vacuum check on random cars. I wouldn't mind doing it.

Great idea but some folks may not show up in town until the morning of the event.

maybe we can tech in most of the cars in that class the night before. I like the idea.

I'm in and agree with above statement, but would like weight at 3400lbs. NO power adders of any kind, and on 93 octane only( no E85 or race gas). Would also like a tire and or wheel size limit.

I also would like to be involved in tech and or rules disscussion, also offer still stands of free full gasket set if you get torn down.

Teardown rule is a bit over the top for a spray painted opti cap trophy. Needs to be a real cash prize in excess of $1000 for me to let anyone tear my ride home apart.

The sooner the better, that way I can go this year.

PS I think this class is a good idea. Most of the LTX crowd is on a budget and many shy away from large events like this because someone always has a bigger budget and it sucks the fun out of it. This at least makes the field competitive if you've got a properly setup bolt on car. No big money on valvetrains, fuel systems, power adders, etc. It would give the Mrs. a class to run the DD car in...hmm

ok so i would ammend to say......"700r4 in 93 year cars is also permitted as well as tru duals dumped behind drivers door, mufflers mandatory.."

that should still keep it fair right???

weight is kinda touchy that can be discussed, i forgot to include that NO POWER ADDERS!!!!......and no e85 is allowed only pump gas....

i put that in there just to sway people from being stupid if you follow......if there is a car that is showing blatent signs of internal modifications and there is a big issue with it winning then a tear down would be possible......however it is highly unlikely....there are alot of ways to catch a modified engine without taking it apart

yep we need some good responses to this class however......gizmo is looking for at least 8 confirmed participants.....the class is a great chance for a budget bolt on guy to come and show his/her skills......lets make it happen!!!
