The PCM calibration does not have a value for fuel pressure, so it can't be tuned for any specific pressure. The pressure has to do with setting the injector flow rate ( which I recommend be set as a constant across the MAP range for the TPI/LT1 fuel system).
It comes down to this. If your injectors flow 36# at LT1 fuel pressure then the flow rate in the PCM should be 36. But if your injectors flow 36# at LS1 pressure then the flow rate in the PCM will be much less than 36.

Only basing it on the video, but it looks like the Base airflow minumim and the Startup Airflow need to increased slightly
On camed cars with startup tunes, I increase the Base Airflow Minimum 4G/SEC under 2000 RPMS, and on Startup Airlflow increase 4 G/SEC under 6.0 until the car idles steady.
Thats on LSx powered vehicles

I dont suggest doing that. That simply tightens tension on the throttle wire. There are several sensors that come into play in start up, if the engine is hot, if it is cold, if it is in drive neutral, or in gear. If he goes WOT, and the cable doesnt recoil that extra 1/8th inch and the throttle hangs up, that could create a problem anywhere from stopping or hanging high RPMs on a new build.
The car can hold a steady RPM so its drivable. Granted it will stall at every stop, but it will cruise.
Its in the same family as NOT drilling a hole in the throttle blade.
To me, its just tuning etiquate

IT is in the tune for sure, unless you have a vacuum leak going on.. YOu will need to check for vac. leaks and make sure you have NO codes what so ever. Also for the throttle blades, dont open them. You will have to drill 2 small 1/8" holes in the blades. ONe on each side, but then again for your application. I wouldnt even do that since your on a small cam stock engine pretty much. Those are only done on bigger head/cam cars. As for this surging it can happen in just the tune if you reset your tps make sure your getting atleast 4.5v at wot with koeo. Also .67 at just idle with the blades closed and once again car turned off.
Those injectors are not that big off a issue to cause surging, Ive had and several others have been running 36 and 52s for years with no surging issues ever. Something like this though can definitely be in the tune. Since you didnt have the issue with the stock lt1 pcm

Doc got it sorted out today! Long day though, three hour drive up, car had exhaust/intake leaks enough to make it angry, crashing computers, food, three hour drive back, coolant issue 10 minutes from the house for some reason after the car ran cool all day! I just got home around 11:45PM.

It was sensors/tune related. I just had the unlucky draw in regards to guesstimating what was needed for the initial mail tune. Well maybe not entirely, once rolling the car ran fine, I just had that issue at idle.
Definitely thanks to Doc and crew at EFI Alchemy and also Phil for suggesting I try to drive the thing.
I have to go to sleep, way too long of a day!

I dont care if they or anyother shop builds the next land rocket to the moon, if they are drilling a hole in your throttle blade to make it idle, they dont know how to use their tuning software.
