A few weeks ago we had nothing but trouble with an aftermarket cast aluminum 58mm throttle body. Not only did the blades stick in the bore, but the throttle position sensor would not show 0% without pedal depressed. The sensor had to be slotted to get it closer to 0%.

There is calibration data (for example at idle) that needs a good TPS signal.

The cast 58mm throttle body has since been replaced with a quality CNC unit from TPIS.

I have a Summit 58mm throttle body and that is one of the problems Doc was seeing off the bat when he hooked up to tune it. The damn thing would not zero out initially.

glad you guys were able to sort out the issue. your power curve looks really good. i noted the difference in power too. what was that from, just a different dyno ?

Same Dyno.....one is STD correction and the other is SAE only differences I see.....Dyno graph itself looks WAY better though....

I'm curious to see a comparison where the air/fuel is the same at wide open throttle. The early graph is showing more fuel (12.5) at WOT and the new graph is showing less fuel (13.5) at WOT.

But like Matt said, the improvement is rather obvious up top. Lookin' good!
