Default I can never win

Last month after having to spend a small fortune on practically every gasket in the car, an opti and coil, not to mention headlights...

I need a new water pump now. weep hole takes a small **** all over every time I turn the engine off.

anyone have recommendations as to what pump to go with? I am trying to be cheap yet somewhat reliable. electric or cam driven show me what you got.

EWP, it's an excuse for a small hp gain too.

I went with an Meziere EWP when mine started leaking. Since I'm lazy it still has the drive shaft coming out of the timing cover. Maybe when I build my motor I'll get rid of tht little thing, but for now it's nice to have just in case.....

I'm trying to piece a EWP kit together on summit, looking out the window and drip drip drip it goes... looks like I'll be driving the mustang again.

I would be sure to get a new OEM pump...not Napa, Autozone , etc or a Mezier or CSR EWP

I would not drive it with is leaking our you might be putting another Opti on as well as that new water pump.

Well, about the stang, it has been waiting quietly in the driveway just for occasions such as this.

Just ordered a new EWP and painless wiring kit from summit. now I get to tear into the camaro again, YAY! not exactly something I wanted to do a couple weeks before going to Afghanistan but hey, at least it will be there when I come back.

Did you go with the CSR or Meziere? The CSR is smaller and doesn't require hacking up your fan shroud like the Meziere. The CSR requires minor grinding on the pump housing, which you can't see. It's a much slimmer design.

Went with a Mez. Don't mind cutting the shroud. Figure the way things are going im probably going to need a new one soon anyway. Lol.

At least my wife approves of not putting anything stock back in when its time to replace .

okay, EWP is in, and finally bled... I think?

but the seat of the pants dyno says it gained a bit, and it sure cools the car down quick, with manual fans it went from 180-50 in the matter of about 5 minutes. sweet deal... now to figure out a warning light/buzzer out.
