Do you guys drive your cars during winter?
I'm forced to drive mine and i need to order a new set of rear tires. I was thinking about going with these all season Michelins that also are sporty as well for the summer. Im not expecting it to be 4wd good but does anyone else drive these cars in the winter? We had a 2 incher dumped on us and i had to drive to work and it made it cuz i took my time and that was with bald goodyear F1's. I was also thinking about putting some weight back there as well. How do you guys get yours through the light snow?

I drive mine year round but in south texas we never get any rain let alone snow. I street Mickey Thompson radials. when it does rain adding weight does help a lot. I'd go with something that has lots of tread. Possibly something like a snow tire. Hope this helps.

Just get some M&S rated all season tires and call it a day. If you want to go all out, get a set of blizzaks for the winter but mine does fine on all season Kumhos and before that Contis.

I run BFG super sport all seasons. They are great on dry/wet roads and will get you through road slush. Load your trunk up with bags of sand-box sand. Or get cat litter tubs and fill them with gravel. You may also want to keep a small shovel back there in case you need to use some of the gravel for traction. Keep your car as clean as possible, and always wax it! Road salt is nasty.

Me personally if i ever had to drive mine in the winter it would have 4 winters on it no questions asked. You can find a cheap set of V6 rims or salad shooters and find winters used or new pretty cheap. The thinner the tire the better they cut through snow much better. All it takes is one shitty day and some meat head to do something stupid in front of you and your car is totaled. Do your self the favour and get proper tires so you can make sure your car is in the driveway tomorrow and not at the colision center.
Blizzaks and or Dunlop Graspics have been what i have used on both my rwd dailys and they were a huge difference compared to all seasons which were on it before.

I start it up and drive it around the neighborhood on the nice days during the winter months here in Oregon. If I drove this thing in the winter it would look like crap and have rock chips from the pavement being tore up due to all the people that run studs on the streets. Let alone the rock salt used on the roads/hwys eat through the finish on the wheels. Plus I kinda like not driving it all the time. Makes me appreciate the car more and I don't get burnt out on it. I run **** over w/ my Jeep in the winter
