Tony, jus curious what is the limiting factor with these pistons.Im running the je version and looking to spray a healthy shot myself.Je 40dd pistons whats there limit?

JE pistons are made from 2618 alum Low silicon based
SRP's are made from 4032 alum High silicon based

Material is the factor.
JE's are stronger and more durable and can handle more heat and cylinder pressures.

SRP's are a good piston but the window for tuning errors are smaller with them. If you are off a bit on the tune, a JE will stand up longer than a SRP.

I have run both and will never go back to a SRP. But thats because of the size shot I hit. For the street car guy with a 150-200 shot they work great.

tuning is key. you can melt the most expensive pistons in a fraction of a second if you dont know what your doing. (or make a boo-boo.)
