Whooo hoooo!!!!! I finally have the motor in my hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neil he said to get the Moroso billet oil pump part #22171. Carlos was right its because 2 failed on him and its better to be safe than sorry. Also said you will have to grind a bit on the pump to clear the main studs but it wont effect the pump at all.

I also got the th350 in the car the trans cooler is all hooked up, dip stick & DS are in. Just need to rig up the shifter fill up the trans and put in the Kirkey pro seats and it should be ready for a test drive.

Thanks! Thats the only way to do it IMO. Keeping everything clean is one of the most important things to a happy long lasting engine, and whats the point in spending all that money if it doesnt look good in the end.

My builder also told me he had to take a little weight out of the crank and the bob weight is pretty light(good for a quick revving motor) Says he rarely see issues with Eagle parts breaking and actually sees more Oliver rods let go than Eagle. lol

Haha I build my junk in the house also. The 383 is in the living room now, stock short and a 4bolt block are in the spare bed room.lol
I was shocked to hear that about Oliver also. He was telling me about a very very well known local shop called Fast Times had 3 sets of rods let go on the dyno alone.

I actually think they are super comfortable with the pro street covers compaired to what you think they would be like. Doubt I would drive across the country with them but for cruisin and racing they are fine.
