Racecraft makes F-body specific mounts you can buy from Madman. I have both seats in now. The driver side is pretty adjustable the passenger side has some adjustment but not nearly as much. PITA to adjust either so try and get it right the first time lol.

Ya but only got one pass and the motor was having sputtering issues + the nitrous wasnt working. I did get a new best 60ft NA however but after that pass the car wouldnt start. Must have messed up some of the wiring when I put in the shifter and found a loose fuse causing the no start. Ill be trying to figure it all out tonight and hit the track next fri.
Good news is the trans works. Just need to get the other stuff worked out.

Wow, I have been looking at the changes of your car. From a street to a RACECAR. Those Kirkeys look good along with your new trans and shifter. Oh, and a new stroker for next year? man, I'm jealous, lol. But seriously, your car looks awesome Mike. Hope you get all those issues worked out so we can see this bird FLY!

Ya I was kinda pissed and the car felt sluggish all the way down the track. So I changed out the plugs last night and cleaned up the MAF and the car feels much better and revs crisp and faster now. The old plugs were dripping fuel when I pulled them. So I hope that was the issue. Not to mention Im running NGK BR7efs at .035. which isnt a good plug for NA anyhow.

Still need to get the Nitrous system working again and maybe clean the o2s.

Glad to hear it is making it down the track regardless of your issues. Can't wait to see that thing dialed in. I hear ya on the BR7EF's with a tight gap on motor, my car is not a happy camper while driving around on them. Starts to run like crap. I should pull them to clean them as well but too lazy, thinking a quick 1-2 on the sauce will do the trick. When is the next track outing?

Mike, you're mistaken me for somebody else. I did not pick up any heads/intake from anyone. I'm very satisfied with my LE set up.

Butch, were you able to get out to the track at all this year ? I know your car has more in it and have been waiting to see that 10 sec slip.

Running a walbro 255 inline pump set at 45psi.

I think I got everything working again. Basically rewired everything under the console and eliminated all the 2-step stuff and relays as well. Prob saved 2-3lbs lol. So should be good to go for this friday.

Oh He told me a guy with a maroon SR cammed Z bought it. Asked if it was Butch aka Bolo and he said yes. I think there is someone impersonating you around the streets of Chitown then. lol. I figured you picked it up for another car not yours. I know I wouldnt trade my LE stuff either.

Hey Mike .. I was shocked to see you make it up Friday and sorry to hear it did not go well.

I assume you never got the car on the street for a test pass prior to the track? The 7 plug should be no problem running N/A. I run them all the time in my car and my dads with no issues.

good luck going out Friday

I drove it around the block to make sure it went forward and reverse then loaded it up. I knew the spray wasnt working when I left but figured if I couldnt get it working at the track I could at least test the trans.

The plugs that were in the car have been in ever since my last tune at Speedinc and had a lot of idle time since then. They were in poor shape when I pulled them. Also didnt look up what that fuse I was talking about being loose is for but If pulled or loose the car wont start and thats where I had the progressive powered from. Who knows, we will see how it goes on friday.
Good seeing you again to Larry, there were a bunch of guys from the site and Chitown which made it a good time even with the car running like crap.

That was the 2-step button. Its gone now though. Nitrous stuff and line lock is in the ashtray and the progressive is in the console.
