Street/Strip suspension
#23
On my car I have UMI tubular K-frame and upper/lower front a-arms, strano springs and sway bars, slp stb, bilstein shocks from strano, slp 3 pt weld in sfcs, j&m tubular lcas/relo brackets and adj phb with umi upper phb S60 rear, UMI adjustable TA and trans relocation xmember, 13" Corvette front brakes braided brake lines all around.
#24
Spohn:
Poly end adj LCA
LCA drop brackets
Adj TA relocated with driveshaft loop
Adj PHB poly/ball end
KYB AGXs with Eibach Prokit
SFC welded
Stock sway bars
I like my set up. Its not the most forgiving ride, or the most ideal set up for the track. However, I feel my set up is a nice compromise for performing the street/strip double duty.
I don't know how everyone else feels, but with my car the Subframe Connectors were the single best susp/chassis mod I did to my car. It completely improved the feel of the whole car and eliminated most of my rattles and squeaks. (note: my car has t tops)
I'm still experimenting with my shock settings. Hopefully someone else can chime in that has more track time with them then I do.
Next item will be a K frame for the front and maybe sway bars. I'm still kinda undecided about sway bars. Anyone have any input on them?
