Damn Straight your off topic...

Jk... At 70-75 I'm at 2900-3100 RPM... I know, Its killer gas mileage, but that son of a b**** moves out in the city, and even on the highway from a semi-high roll? beat a 08 Civic Si the other day from a 55/60mph roll (I know its a civic but he's got "I/H/E/tune" and a 6speed)...

So, IMO, 4.10's are awesome for A4's

Since someone brought this up > No, the SS3600 is not too much stall to have behind a 150 shot. I did it for years in a 4000 lb car, pulling 1.45 60's with the bolt-on LT1.
With a cheaper converter, I wouldn't go that high, but the Yank SS converters are very efficient and "hooked up".

I was saying with the mods you are planning if you don't run 12s with your DRs you have done something SEVERELY wrong.

also, that time I said was on DRs.

Do yourself a favor and pick a damn engine combination, i mean a solid cam that you can build off of.

Then get a stall to compliment the power range of it. There is a lot to factor as well, like mentioned tire size and WHAT TYPE OF CAR YOU ARE TRYING TO BUILD....

And, if your on cheap street tires it won't matter.. because your going to spin..

Yes, with 4.10s you run a significant risk of rear end damage. Be prepared to replace when you use sticky tires. May or may not "going explode" but be prepared for it.

You've obviously never driven one. Hotcam cars are torquey and fun on the street. The stall gear and cam will be more than "DD" tires will hold. Id rock a hotcam w 1.7s all day long fir a true DD

With what he's planning it'll be pretty badass. Not as much as a larger cam, but still a great performer.
