It is normally the job of the official starter to police the staging rules, not the competitors. If somebody double bulbs you, look at the starter before you start bumping in (you should be looking at him anyway).

I try not to get into a lot of this, but if my oponent double bulbs and doesn't back up, I will often take my time. Especially if they get on their converter, because I know they are cooking their stuff. Intake heat equals slow times.

I'm gonna try and make it down there in my 94 silverado. Probably not racing, as it's a 4700lb brick with highway gears (3.42's and 33's) but I'd think there's a few other guys from my area coming down to race. Both in mod/pa

As you know, I race Stock Eliminator. Normally everyone knows each other, so they play nice. But, every once in a while, you get a guy who wants to play staging games. Sometimes it even starts with lane choice. That's why I try to hit both lanes during qualifying. If someone double bulbs they will usually back up. They will not get disqualified, but they have triggered the start timer. If they continue to mess around they can get an automatic red light.
