If only there was a trap speed and link to the timeslip posted... Oh wait it was.

The point of that post was to show that it doesn't take some crazy high dollar head setup to make that kind of power like a bunch of people in this thread are saying when there are already proven results that a $2000 heads/cam setup cam reach his goals.

FI's 9 Second LT1 Street Car! - Forced Inductions has pounded the rollers with 1012rwhp & 909rwtq SAE with their PTK 88mm Turbo setup on an ordinary budget Eagle 355 rebuild. This street terror runs our 200cc ported GM lt1 castings, a 218/218 .544/.544 camshaft, 12-bolt rear end, and a D&D T56 6-speed. This is a full weight street car with 3680lb Raceweight!. With Jose @ FI's expertise it's run a best of 122mph in the 1/8th and 9.871 @ 156.74mph in the quarter! The fastest LT1 powered LT1 F-body ever! Click HERE for a timeslip of this record setting pass!

Not sure what an out of date website proves?

Maybe this will help?

The kids eat that **** up, then swap to LS cars when they either have zero drivability or don't run anywhere near the times of some other "street car" with the same heads.

So how were they mislead? I'm trying to figure out how them and customers sharing results of their product is missleading people? They never claimed that throwing a set of their 215tfs heads and a solid roller on a car will make it magically run 9.50's like abare runs.

Hell if anyone mislead people it was that throttle body porter bert claiming to be an expert.

you're right! abare's motor is truly street/strip and exhibits excellent driveability and will sit in traffic one minute and then break the wheelie bars off the car in the next minute with no changes other than pulling 10 degrees of timing

Its not about the results - they should be proud of what they have accomplished, and they are a huge benefit to the LT1 community. A lot of people just have a problem with how stuff is put across and worded.

A fully forged splayed 4-bolt shortblock, controlled by a DFI system, running race gas, and pushing 24psi of boost is a budget built street car now? . I can promise you that car has more in its fuel system and computer then most people on this site have in total mods.

I don't see it in good taste to advertise a product using results that only a very small percentage of people have the cash or knowledge to duplicate. Yes, they are good heads for what they are, and I have recommended them multiple times...but don't expect to throw just the 200cc kit on a car and expect it to run 10s, because most run far from that.

Gotta love pissing matches. So I have a question, since he is running a Eagle crank and rod's and making that power. Would there be any problem in running my Compstar crank and rod's with some upgraded pistons. What is the HP/TQ rating for the Compstar stuff.

I am having problems getting ahold of AI, seems like every time they call back I am unavailable to talk. I guess I will try again tomorrow.

I wouldn't run eagle rods and expect it to live long at 1000rwhp. The point of the post was to show that it won't take a $4000 head setup reach your goals. A $2000 heads/cam setup has been proven to reach your goals, and the rest of the $$ can be better spent in a bulletproof bottom end setup.

Still waiting on a link to where anyone from Ai claimed that it is just a run of the mill setup.

Then again you have a high compression stroker with a huge cam and worked afr 210's that trapped a whopping 96mph so you clearly have first hand knowledge on what works...

Do you really think you should be the spokesperson on what works when you have "430rwhp" but only run 11.9@120? .
