Default Header and 1.6rr questions

Im getting headers and 1.6rr pretty soon here and im just making sure i got its all right..

I'm getting the ebay stainless headers with these bolts

http://compare.ebay.com/like/1206949...=263602_304662
and the copper gaskets... im not sure about these gaskets so i was wondering if there are a better set... and maybe if there are a better set of bolts as well... these seem to be the only ones i can find that look good.
I am also pretty sure that i have to do the egr and air delete with those headers as well?

also for the 1.6rr do i need to buy new studs or do the factory ones work? I am doing a build at the beginning of the summer i am just getting some parts ready for now... so if i need to get some studs i would rather just get them now... i am also going with these fabbed aluminum
http://www.autopartsdealer.com/canto..._content=rank1
with these valve covers i see it has a breather opening... does anyone have this and know exactly what to get for that?

thanks

on rocker studs.. you don't have to get new ones, but the arp ones are much more stiff and keep alignment more precise.

Have you already purchased your rockers?

No i have not purchased them yet... but i will go ahead and get the arp studs then.... so if i get the studs and the rockers... not sure what brand im getting yet.. i will be able to just bolt them on and go.. i do not need anything else for the head. other than valve covers for clearance

As long as you get self aligning rockers you can just bolt them on and go, but the stock valvesprings are border line unsafe with any extra lift over stock. Some lt4 springs should do the trick and your stock valve covers will work if you trim the insides to fit.

I would say He has NOT bought anything yet. As he said if you dont have the funds for new rocker studs you CAN use your stock ones, But you need to make sure you order rockers to fit the stock studs. But i suggest new ARP studs as well

The headers look fine, and the bolts you should get are a locking header bolt, i also like to use the stainless steel ones, they dont rust ever and look good as well.

I use a 3layer metal header gasket similar to the stock one, i have used many diffrant ones in the past and these seem to work perfect, even when a bolt comes loose or anything like that happens and the car is run they dont blow out. I have blown copper before when i use to spray my car, but i now perfer the tri metal.

As for the CANTON valve covers, were you asking about what style of breather you needed? Push on style

If you're going through the hassle of upgraded studs, you might as well get NSA rockers and guide plates.

Any SBC 3/8"x16 header bolt will work. I prefer the 1" long, 12-point, 5/16" head stainless variety.

Check...check...check....check. I would say so.

Except that kit has 16. You only need 12.
