Default Will an lt1 w/ minor mods benefit from a tune ??

Heys guys, my engine mods are as follows: Flowtech afterburner headers, no cat$, true duals, adj fuel press regulator, air foil, cold air intake, home ported throttle body, egr block off, throttle body bypass, and 160 therm.
What kind of hp/tq gains do you estimate with a mail order tune?
Think its worth it?
I was looking at madtuner cause theyre fairly local, do you recommend them or???
Thanks guys

a car with no mods will benefit from a tune. A car with your mods will deffiently benifit from a tune.

Ive heard good things about alot of the tuners, PCMforless is also a good place to go. Everyone has a different experience though, but your tune should be fairly simple since your just bolt ons

The tune will do a lot for you. They can alter the fan turn on/off times so that your car stays nice and cool with the 160 stat. They can give you a little more hp even on a stock motor, especially if you know you will always be running good gas. Tell them that if that is what is available to you. They can also firm up the shifting if you run an auto. I'd expect an honest 10-15hp gain for you, a little bit better mileage, snappier throttle response, and if you run an auto, possibly .2-.3 quicker.

Stock tune tends to run very rich. A good dyno tune will be wel worth it.

^^^ What he said..My customers would gain from 10 to as much as 30 HP. A stock C-5 gained 36 RWHP...

With CAI, exhaust, free mods, airfoil and 1.6 rr the tune from PCMforless really brought the package together. 269 with the stock chip, 287 rwhp with the sister chip from Alvin. Same day same dyno. Plus stop light to stop driveability is much better with great response in traffic. Especially during the real hot days here in Texas. A4 tranny with 3.07 gears. Quartermile gain I don't know never been on the track with it.
