ss rrr... id still run a 3/8" pushrod on that deal, if your heads can't clear it with an offset lifter then somethings wrong.

The heads came off about a year ago. They were checked out and all valvetrain components were in remarkable condition. The engine had been running for almost 3 years prior. I think if there were flex to the point of power loss there would have been signs of abnormal wear in that time. I think I'll be fine.
