Project Reaper 2.0
I already have the smoked corners, just haven't installed them.
Yeah I hate the LM1 exhaust with a passion. It sounds like when I'm at a nascar race. The car is insanely loud.
Car will be going to the dyno for dialing in the nitrous.
Over the winter plans are for the S60 rearend, cage, wheelie bars and chute mount. Spent enough money for now, just want to get out and drive it what little time I have left this year.
Engine as I am told only needed first oil change @ 300 miles, then again at 600. My break in is really 500 miles for the clutch. Other than that and base tune, and then dyno it is good to go.
As far as gearing goes we will have to see what is best when we run the numbers. I suspect it will be in the 4.5x range.
I took my son out tonight his first time ever in the car. Played with the tune a bit and kept an eye on the wideband. Seems pretty close but have to do some data logging. I have the output of the wideband hooked to the af pressure switch so I can reference the voltage signal and convert that to afr in datamaster. I will be tweaking the tune based off my readings.
My son about **** his pants at half throttle. It pulls and it pulls hard. I mean really hard. I am eager to get to the track next spring and see the outcome on nuts and on spray. I will have my hands full that's for sure. Gonna be fun with the six speed.
I'm not going to speculate a number, track times and mph will tell me all I need to know. I have a lot of figuring out to do on the suspension to get it to hook. I spent a great deal of time getting my old red car to hook and get good 60'. This one will be an entirely different animal. Takes time and patience to dial in a car to get it out of the hole. Too many variables and may have to consult with Jerry Clayton on what is a happy medium for a track/street car. I think I will have to get a rear drag bar for sure. I will have to play with springs and coil over settings. I just don't want a dedicated track car that arrives on a trailer. I want to drive it to the track and drive it back home. This really is just a toy for me. It will spend more time on the street and car shows than track time. I'm not that guy that is looking to better my times by tenths each time out. Gonna run my number with everything in it like I do on the street, then maybe a few track rentals or a couple events each year. I hope to make the next ltx shootout. been planning on doing that but timing on my builds has not been in the cards. I guess I just really want to enjoy the car for all the time and money I have spent on it.

Jerry's car...... you have no idea..... I will play along for a bit then maybe I will post a pic.
Tuning the suspension is one of the most fun parts of a build
. Anybody can make a monster from a highway roll, but it take a lot more patience to get it to hook.PS: She revs fast as hell. Sounds like a lot of fun!
If you plan to spray it 4.56's will be way to much gear. You will most likely need 3.42-3.90 gear and a 28'' tall slick.
Ditch front sway bar and get a rear drag bar, The rear bar will make the front seem like it's not even missing for street use.
Get DA shocks and aftermarket springs all around. Single adjustable in the rear will not be enough to control unloading.
After doing those all I can do is wish you luck dialing it in. I've been out with MWC, AMS, & a few local guys and I'm still dialing mine in on Motor! next season I get to start over and try again on juice.
There will be some long days and nights at the track trying to figure everything out and get to that happy medium.

sent you a PM. Need a bit of help please.
Thanks.
