Default FMS LT1 Results

Went to Hattiesburg yesterday and made a few passes with my new setup. Best pass was 11.72 @ 122.76 . Still getting comfortable driving, its alot faster than before, not to mention trying to keep my stock rearend in one piece. The car wasnt hooking that good on the drag radials but I will be going back to practice getting it to leave.

Im pretty happy since its a stock bottom end, FMS (Godzilla) cam, stock ported heads & intake, some bolt-ons and FMS tuning. Dyno'd 438 rwhp/398 torque through Borla. Not to bad for a LT1.

Thanks to Allan and the boss (Candy)

You are running an M6 with that kind of power through the stock 10 bolt!?!?!? And you are running DRs....you are a brave soul

Very impressive numbers. What are the specs of the cam?

Awesome numbers.

Give us a hint. Cam = more or less than 235 degrees of duration @ .05? More or less than .6 lift?

Well we started out with 391 and got to 405 with the stock throttlebody and stock air intake,we took the stock air intake off and made 425,then put a 58mm on and made 435,then fixed some other issues and made 438.But will be dynoing with bullets real soon. TELLY (FMS)

Cool. Very cool. I have to go with Chino_man, though, you're a brave soul running a 10-bolt. Especially with a 6-speed. I've seen some pictures of busted pinion gears with guys pushing more than 400rwhp.

This power is all through a LT1 head and the cam from your description is relatively small....FMS has their shiznit together when it comes to head and cam packages, regardless of whether it is LS1 or LT1... If I had to guess though, I would say that those ramp rates are REAL aggressive, but none the less congrats on the awesome power. Start saving for a rear and go cook some rice.

Great results you've got, I can't believe the 10-bolt is still holding up. Are you planning on going 9" or 12-bolt?
