But ...... it's NOT a stroker kit??? All the kits shown in the link have 3.48" cranks in them????

A 355 uses a 3.48 crank.you get the 5 extra cubes by going 30 over.
Also Crower has a good kit.

I got my all forged rotating assembly from Competition Products and features a Howards Tracksmart 4340 forged crank, Tracksmart 4340 forged 6" rods and Mahle forged ft pistons.

The kits in the OP's link I would not call good either.

If I build an engine I would strongly look at the Howard's cranks and rods, they offer American made stuff and are located half an hour away from me in Oshkosh WI. on the SE side of EAA.

I think the "Tracksmart" are Compstar, they say machined by Callies and their "Howard's Pro" series says 100% American and specifies forged here, again machined by Callies.

Capricemgr my crank and rods say "100% American Made" now I got my kit about 3-4 years ago so I don't know if they've changed their practices since then but that was the reason I purchased from them in the first place 100% American Made.

OK I just know on the next step up they stress forged here so I thought since they didn't specify that on the Tracksmart it was possibly forged elsewhere. At any rate the more done here the better. There is a war on manufacturing and physical labor in this country and buying THINGS made here is how we fight it

what brand exactly is everything... and has anyone ever used and of the stuff from that site? I am trying to piece a kit together but it's kinda hard with the horrible afghanistan internet and being 7000 miles from home.

Are you looking to buy purely on price, like most, or do you actually want good parts?
