Have you tried searching? There's a ton of threads out there with different exhaust setups. What may sound good to someone else might sound like a wet fart to you.

Good and cheap are mutually exclusive.

Can easily find a used cheap magnaflow or slp loudmouth in the classifieds. Both are stainless and will never rust out so just go on youtube and check out which exhaust you prever and keep an eye on the classifieds.

pacesetter longtubes are among the cheapest, and they fit my car fine.

after that... piping is piping. as long as it mandrel bent, it wont be too much different HP wise.

The Hooker cat-back sounds great and its free flowing. For the money its the best deal. My Hooker aero-chamber muffler started coming apart so I replaced it with a cheap magnaflow 12267 muffler. The sound is not near as loud but it will bark when you floor it. The muffler was maybe $80

Probably gonna run into some haters, super engine techs, and SLP fanboys but if you plan on keeping the cat converter, then I would just delete the muffler. Its the most free flowing, cheap, and it sounds damn good AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE CAT CONVERTER. Once you remove the converter and dont put a muffler on it sounds like poop. This is what I have on my car (and my last fbody until I got the headers and ditched the cats) and every LT1 guy I meet asks me what exhaust I have. When I tell them "straight pipes", no one ever believes me.
It has a nice, deep, thoaty tone going down the road. Not nearly as loud as you'd think. But if you want to get on it and you want to be heard, it does get loud. Very deep, throaty sound. I love my straight pipes, but when I ditch the cats, I'll have to get a muffler.

And if you just hate it, then just get the catback you want. Sawzall blades are cheap compared to catbacks.
