This thread will be following the build of a 383 c.i. forged shortblock for lt1slowz28.......you've seen my build threads before this will be pictures and info of the build start to finish............

Shortblock will be.....

Eagle Forged 4340 Crank
Scat H Beam Rods
SRP Pro Series Pistons
Converting a 2 Bolt to a Billet 4 Bolt Main Block
etc..........

Tony, you have no idea... I may use him in the future when I have a little bit more patience, though. Also might have to use you for some more of your contacts out in Waco, I'm sure you know the place I am talking about.

Any reason for the 4 bolt conversion? What kind of rpm are you looking at turning and are you going to feed it the bottle?

gonna spin it till it stops making power, won't know exactly where that is until it's built but somewhere north of 7K.

Why must you bring up a sensitive subject? I'm still on the fence about exactly what I will ultimately end up with as far as management and intake, even considered going carb'd... but until I can decide on an end all solution for now it will be stock style.

Join the club . Even with all the money in the world the nicer builds take a long time...when you're a broke *** like I am now but still too stubborn to cut corners you end up in my shoe - 2 1/2 years just for the motor .
