Ltx Shootout announcement !!!
We want to start off by saying thanks to the participants, sponsors, staff, media, fans, and volunteers for helping make the LTX Shootout a success over the last four years. We appreciate the dedication, great attitudes and friendly competition and will always cherish the new friendships that were made. We should all be proud of how much we have accomplished. Unfortunately, family, financial and career obligations are making it more difficult than ever for us to continue coordinating this event and as a result we are announcing that we can no longer continue to coordinate the LTX Shootout.
We do not want the LTX Shootout event to die. We are looking for responsible and motivated individuals to take over the reins and continue the LTX Shootout legacy. The foundation has been set and notoriety has already been gained through printed media like GM High Tech, web sites like LTXTECH.com and LTXShootout.com, and even social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Kyle and I can attest to the fact that coordinating this event is no easy task but the gratification from smiling faces on Saturday night and the many thanks from dozens of members of our community always seemed to make it all worth while. If you know anyone that would be interested in taking over the LTX Shootout, please let us know via PM or email at info@ltxshootout.com.
We hope you have all enjoyed the LTX Shootout and hope that it will be around for more years to come. Kyle and I plan on racing at the next event if someone can make it happen.
Thank you all!

Kentucky was a pretty central location. Only Missouri or Kansas could be considered more central. But, the population centers are on the east and west coasts so, it makes it a tough call as to where to host an event and get the most participation.
