Guarantee you crossed a wire or missed proper location of the distributer to cam.

problem solved lol ok do this pull both covers and do them this way........follow this procedure ONE cylinder at a time......

1. Rotate engine BY HAND untill the exhaust valve BEGINS to open...when it does back off the intake valve nut till there is play in the rocker then tighten the nut till the play goes away (0 lash) then tighten the nut another 1/2 turn.........

2. repeat same procedure for exhaust valve adjusting but adjust it when the INTAKE valve is begining to return from full lift.....

You're not stumped, you're a moron using the wrong procedure from asking about the wrong engine in the wrong forum:

Effed up as a football bat.

You cant just tighten rockers untill they quit moving!Go to YouTube and look up rocker arm adjustment
Hope you haven't bitch slapped any valves with pistons... Do your home work before large projects, and I hope this is your only mistake in the repair........

LOL. Nah, he asked in here too: https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...que-specs.html

Sadly, he didn't even know how to ask the right question.

Anyhow, OP, do it the way quik95lt1 said and hope that you haven't already done major engine damage.

Lol,
I strongly suggest not running that motor much without properly adjusting the valves, it will be catastrophic if the geometry or adjustment is wrong

Rockers ? here is the biggest question did you torque the head down the correct ft.lbs and the proper pattern ? If your struggling with rockers you have worried about the head .
