Is anyone running these? They are good to .595 lift.
I'm curious if they would work with my setup.
My cam is LE 226/232 .576 .571 110 lsa
Advertised 274/284

My cam is close to yours with less lift.
Its a 226/234 .560/.565 on a 110 lsa
Advertised numbers are 278/286
I was going to run the Alexsprings but decided to run what the cam manufacturer recommended (Howards Cams). I am going to run Howards pt#98215. They are very close to the Alex springs with 130# on seat and 350# open. Are you running stock heads? If not you need to check your installed height.
I havent had time to tear the car down and install the springs/cam so I cant give a good review on them, its just what the tech recommended. I know that Lloyd Elliot has recommended guys to run them. I think he said as long as its not a very aggressive grind and not over .575 lift they are fine. I wouldnt doubt it if the Howards and Alex springs come from the same factory.
With that said Im not sure how much the extra lift your cam has over mine will affect the springs. Im not a proffesional and am just trying to pass on information Ive gathered while buying parts for my own cam swap.

I would try to call lloyd and see if he can cut you a decent deal on a set of springs/retainers and the whole shebang.
after all lloyd is one of the more reasonable people I have had the pleasure of doing business with.

I chose to use Alex Parts springs, locks, retainers and viton valve seals and hardened push rods when I started my winter project. So far I have been pleased with everything. I've only driven the car 50 miles or so but no problems so far. From what I understand, LE cams use a very aggressive lobe profile just like the xfi profile which require a beehive spring, and that is why I chose not to use one of his custom grinds. Call Loyd, ask him. I would not use the springs I have for your cam, I bought the same kit in the link. 1997 z28 m6 CC502, Scorpion 1.6 ratio rocker's, pacesetter long tube's, PCM for less tune.

My LE cam was grinded by comp and I believe it was on xfi lobes. LE usually recommends the Patriot Springs, which are not beehives, so I wouldn't say beehives are required.
I don't have any experience with the Alex springs except for the occasional thread like this that pops up from time to time. If you go that route, as with any spring, I would verify the pressures at install height and open height to be sure they are as advertised and all 16 are within a few lbs of each other. 135lb seat pressure is probably about right for that cam.

Lloyd wrote back, his email went into my spam folder so I didn't notice it until I checked for ***** and giggles.
This is what he wrote:
I would not run those lobes with those springs. the springs are a GREAT VALUE for the $$$ and I have had people run 224/230 .560/.544 110 LSA cams with them and have no problems butdumI would not go with the higher lift and faster ramp speed lobes that you have.

Least expensive spring set up that I would use would bedum . . . .

You will need flat shims and shim the spring to 1.770-1.780".
dum
they will have 150 lbs on the seat and work with that cam with out even breathing hard.dum
