For such a "legacy platform" things sure to create a lot of buz and sales when someone releases decently priced LT1 headers.

Good luck to everyone with their headers. I have Speed Daddy LPP's and love them.

I too would like to see these installed. I'm getting close to the end of my 355 H/C/I build and was planning on reusing my old Jet-Hot long tubes that I've been using since 03 because I know they fit and have the ground clearance I need. I'm lowered on Strano's and can't have the headers be any lower than what I've currently got.

I'd buy these today if I knew I could maintain ground clearance.

Yeah, it would be nice to see an actual install. All I am getting right now is that 'they fit between the sofa and La-Z-Boy without modification'. It would be a shame if everyone rushed and bought these and the fitment is not so good.

I was installing my LPP's withinn minutes of opening the box. These guys need to rethink their priorities.

Remember back in school when you were taught about those things called, periods, commas and other punctuation marks? They really do make things a lot easier to read. Your teachers didn't lie to you.

That's a very long sentence.................and when you spell ****** be sure to use an apostrophe (******') so we'll know that you meant to spell it that way.

What makes me laugh are the "I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO GET HERE!" posts. Once they get there, snap some pics, put them back in the box and wait. The suspense would be killing me and I would install them first chance I got.

We know the fit in the box at least

When I installed my LPP's, I had it down to a science since the Driver's header needing "massaging" to clear the steering shaft.

Ok so I mocked mine up today. They seem to fit well, only issues: be prepared to use a open end wrench for all the bolts. The bolts sit very tight to the primary's. On my passenger side, the second bolt in from the front wouldn't go in, the primary bent it too soon/sharp.

Drivers side oil filter:

Drivers side k member from rear:

Drivers side, bolt closest to firewall:

Passenger side second bolt in from front:

Looks like a fabbed y pipe would be a pain

Also, these are stock bolts. I'm unsure what I'll end up going with. I didn't have the gaskets installed and the motor is out so that's why the steering shaft isn't hooked up (obviously)
Sorry for the crap cell pics. Hope it helps!

Get some 5/16 hex ARP bolts, get all the bolts in and started and draw the header to the head. As for the Y pipe, that geometry looks pretty standard.

I haven't installed a set of lts on a lt1 before so I wasn't sure about the y pipe. Ls1s are a little more even at the ends

the angle of the collectors makes me wonder if the LSx y-pipe would fit without too much hassle...just thinking....

Those are what I used on my LPP's. Also, from what I recall, a lot of people complained of Kook's clearance on the oil filter. They had to remove the oil cooler adapter etc just to get it to fit.
