Default Need louder exhaust :)

I've got a 95 TA that had the Hooker Aerochamber on it when I got it. Was way too quiet for me but I thought I'd see if it got any louder when I got longtubes. I can still barely hear it inside the car. I kind of like the sound with the open Y pipe but it's a little too raw and loud for a dd. Right now I"ve got Hooker LT's, ORY, 3" back to the Aerochamber. What mufflers sound good that are louder? Has anyone put a 3" si/so race bullet in the I pipe and run duals out the back? Also really considering true duals. My dad has them on his 96 Impala and they sound great. Tax return should be here in a few weeks so I've got to get rid of the extra $ as fast as possible! lol

go duals, open y pipe sounds like ***, lt1s sound great though, my buddy has a borla catback and it sounds really good, whats the budget, you could always do a magnaflow bullet dumped of the y pipe with a turn down, or a borla xr1 etc

True duals are nice, but tough to do on these cars and expensive. Honesly you'd be better off with a SLP Loudmouth or even better, borlamouth OR just delete your hooker muffler and have a muffler shop weld in some pipe in place of the muffler. that would be the cheapest/loudest.

I have a 3" dynomax bullet and turn down welded on that I'll sell you. I also have the clamp that is used to connect on the I-pipe. Muffler also has a mounting tab welded to it. Turns down right at the axle.

Sounded awesome with my BBk headers and ORY. Sounded amazing inside the car, I went to a magnaflow after it failed the inspection in PA.

i used to have hooker long tubes ORY and SLP's loudmouth. too loud, gave you headaches at cruising speed. so i put teh aerochamber on and an quite happy. be careful what you wish for. it sounds great outside of the car, after 2 years i let someone else drive it in a parking lot lol

Pull off the aerochamber, and store it in your garage. Then put a bullet on the end of the Y pipe. When you get tired of it being so loud put the aerochamber back on.

I had PS Lts to the ory then a slp loudmouth but i put a dynomax bullet in instead of the lm bullet. It was stupid loud with no cats. After my first exhaust ticket I put 2 cats on it and its pretty good now, loud but not over kill.

i have tsp duals on my car, i traded my magnaflo catback for them , i have great clearance and the tsp duals are cheaper than a y catback setup,

True duals are great sounding and plenty loud. I personally have a full catback, but a bullet and electric cutout after the y-pipe. That way I can go loud any time and still sound decent, or close it up for every day driving/highway cruising.

I just picked up this. Its a TSP rumbler and only like 285 shipped to my door.

Or just add a cut out to you current exhaust, that way you can be loud or quiet depending on your mood!!!

Open y pipe sounds like a dumptruck IMO. Either go true duals or slp loudmouth if you want LOUD. I personally love adjustable borla with a e-cutout in the slot to be able to open and close whenever i want. Loud or stealth quiet at the flick of a switch.

Thanks for the suggestions and vids. I've got some time to think while the car is getting painted . Other things to consider are it's going to be my daily driver and I do plan on getting Strano's and Bilstein's whenever Sam gets the springs in; so ground clearance may be a little tight. I also want to run the pipes out the back. Had dumps on my Mustang years ago and just got tired of them.
