If you want to delete the AIR system, all you have to do is unbolt the pump from the front of the motor and unplug the electrical harness that's plugged into it. Its basically buried underneath the MAF sensor, near the ICM. You also have to remove the pipe fittings from your exhaust manifolds, use penetrating oil, they'll be tight as hell. Then go to Home Depot or anyplace that sells pipe fittings and high temp RTV and plug the holes. Done.
It'd probably help if you spelled things right and used punctuation, that way no one takes you for an idiot, too.

"cali bull ****"
I am not aware of any "cali" specific emissions hardware.
I am aware of the AIR system and how it does not hurt performance atall and how the EGR is if anything a good thing with a stock cam. I bet blues brothers mentaility from the 70s dictates all that is bad and probably corking up at least 100hp right?

Pretty much you just unplug it but I believe that the PCM "looks" for the motor on an OBD II car. You may have to get a re-program to delete it. Be careful on removing the pipes from the exhaust. Get the engine hot and spray the fittings on the header with PB Blaster and let it sit for a day. Use a good wrench and they will come off. A six point flare nut wrench would be best. You only get one try with good flats on the nuts.
When plugging the holes in the manifold use copper washers available at most auto parts stores. The only advantage to removing it is a cleaner engine bay and a couple of pounds. There will be no performance increase.....at all.
Good luck and have fun. ---Gunny---

The AIR system was so troublesome that GM got EPA approval to defeat it rather than warranty it on the 95-96 b-bodies. GM can reprogram the pcm to noot set a CEL, they can not however approve removal of the system just defeating.
I also thought the 96+ stuff had a non-standard thread so plugging the manifolds was not so easy.

I removed mine recently... it was in my way. Not going to bother putting something back on that my car doesnt need to run, and possibly have it end up in my way again.
