Never had any issue at all before the tune was changed. Very easy to do if you delete the ABS.

I spliced mine together not sure if it would plug in.

I just converted my TH350 into electronic VSS using the Fitzall Spacer and some parts I scrounged up. I'll post pics tomorrow when the Spacer comes in and I bolt it all up..

The ABS one I had setup went **** up, and I want the TH350 I have to be more versatile..

That and Trans mounted VSS is pretty dependable.. I think the sensor went bad in the ABS Hub which caused the failure..that is the only thing that doesn't check out, the wiring is good.

cool. why not the stock gm parts to do this? I believe you have to get the reluctor from the 1990 454ss trucks as they had th400 in them. shouldn't that be a stock solution? or will not fit the th350?

The output shaft has to be modified..there is a kit out there, you have to tear down the Trans to install it.

I kinda did something simple and effective..

I'll link the thread in here tomorrow.. It'll prob end up being a sticky in the auto section, I haven seen anyone else do what I did.

Here's my spare th350 with the reluctor ring in the correct spot and the spacer installed.

I looked around the reluctor on both sides and it doesn't appear to be welded or anything. Just looks like a snug press type fit. I had to use the 4L60E tail cone on my new th350. My local shop has done a ton of these conversions.

Did they use a bushing or is that the Output Shaft that has been welded up and machined down?

So quick question with the fitzall part and a 9 inch tail shaft do you still have to change out the tail shaft with the one in the fitzall kit? Or can you just press on the Reluctor wheel?

Reluctor won't press on a stock one..they take a stock shaft, weld it up and lathe it back down to have metal in that spot where the Reluctor is on.

I used a T56 Reluctor..about to get the Spacer and put it together.

Take the VSS wires from your old trans and splice them into your abs speed sensor. No problems with the car running what so ever.
This is a vid B4 I even tuned the speedo to work right.

My setup isn't just about keeping the speedometer. It's more about keeping the tail of the 4L60 so that it bolts up perfectly to my crossmember so I don't have to buy a new one. The shop that built my transmission was well versed in building these conversions. I don't need the feed for my pcm or anything.
