Lt1 th350 and vss
Does anyone know if I can do the vss (vehicle speed sensor) to Wss (wheel speed sensor) to get the speedo to work with out programming? I do not care if the speedo is correct I just need the vss code to go away do the car will idle.

What I did for my th350 swap to get the speedo to work is listed below.
th350 with a 9" tail
Fitz-all adapter kit ( a big spacer )
install the 4L60 reluctor wheel onto the th350 output shaft
remove the tail cone off of the th350, then put the Fitz-all spacer and the tail from a 4L60 in its place. That way the sensor plugs right into the tail and it still gets the proper signal to operate the speedo.

How long is your tailshaft housing? There are places to get a set up the same size with the vss sensor set up. My Rossler trans came with a 9" tailshaft with a ls1 type sensor in it. You will have to weigh your options on what you want to do. Cheap way of using wheel sensor and reprogram, an adapter and shorten the driveshaft, or new tail shaft housing and sensor. Even the last will require a flash of the pcm. You can also disable the vss code in the pcm to diagnose. If you have a cable and laptop I'm sure asking someone here to look at your current tune and switching it off or program the wheel sensor would make a lot of sense.

I used that link so you guys could get an idea of what the kit does. I had my local shop order the part.
