Default Low RPM shake/shudder and tone change

Its a 96 z28 with p/p heads, 230/236 comp cam, 1.6rr, 30lb injectors, ported intake, tune, etc.

I was driving home from work today, about a 15 mile trip, and I was half way home and noticed my exhaust tone changed and didn't sound right and I had a low rpm shake or shudder. All my gauges were good the entire time, I checked my fluids when I got home and they were good. I did notice every time I turned the car on and off in the driveway when I got home, that I heard a rattle of some sort from the front of the engine.

My first thought was maybe my chain jumped a half tooth causing it to feel like its missing and having a different tone and also a loss of power. Not limp mode but not all there either.

I just wanna see what everyone says first before I go ahead ripping and tearing, even though I'll probably have to.

Rotor set screw fell off and bouncing around in there? Or just a simple burnt wire...

How long has it been together? Could you have snapped a coil off a valvespring?

I did all the work last summer. I have like 4,000 miles or so on the build so it's not like it's fresh or anything. Just happened out of nowhere.

Fazz73jr's suggestion of checking the rotor screw is reasonable and my idea of a spring is easy as pulling the valvecovers to check.
