replacing the whole thing, loose rotor let the disc eat away at the optical sensor.
Nitrous will wake this lazy car up I hope, it's pretty fast as it sits but as always I want more.

Well, ran the car about a week or so ago, decided to finally take it out on street tires and got a whopping 2.88 '60 with a 13.23 1/4 @ 116, lots to work out... as well as finally getting the motivation to fine tune things and throw the sticky tires on. Motor is a beast on the street and couldn't be happier.

Great progress and sounds sweet as hell! This may be a little off topic but did you mold a different third brake light in place of led on your ss wing? I'm having difficulty finding a replacement for mine.

Just to be clear I was not criticizing the build or anything, just trying to shut up the imagination racer.
We don't know how much you lifted or how quick you got back into it or anything else, in hindsight you wont even be able to make a solid guess as to how it affected performance. It might run mid 11s at 116 or so or you might run low 11s at 120mph, we will only know when you get it back out with some traction.

Good luck with the track outings. I'm looking forward to seeing how it will do once it gets traction.
Haven't you imagined for the last few years how much better you would run at Cecil and ended up running a worse ET at the same MPH?

Like you should talk, lol. My car had an ignition issue that day, and eventually broke on the 3rd pass. Shut off going through the traps like a light switch.

I'm sure it had an ignition issue that day... Perhaps instead of imagining Cecil is the end all be all compared to what you're used to you'd be better served at MIR, or maybe HRP or maybe head down to New Orleans...
