Short belt length for bypassing A/C and P/S?
Headed to the track on the 6th and just wanted to get a little extra out of the stocker. Anyone got a length on the belt? I haven't checked the routing to even see if I can do it.

Bump this back up to the top.
When you guys get rid of your A/C and/or P/S how are you routing the belt? I can get rid of both those and bring a battery charger with me to the track to eliminate the alternator. Just looking for some info on people with race-only belt setups.

You know it is really common on LT1s to just pull the belt for a few passes. You do realize the WP is not belt driven right?

Interesting. I've never heard that done. What all is belt driven? PS, AC,___? I can do without all of that stuff temporarily.
KW to answer your question I honestly don't know but them little bits add up to a lot. I'll do the obligatory temp weight reduction and pull the belt to create a control that I will do every time out to see consistent gains. If it gains me a few numbers it will be a success. I'll even do a back to back for you guys to see real world results. Headed to the track on the 30th.
